There is now a pared-down version of this site available for mobile devices. If you open the mobile page in your mobile browser, you can use the browser option to "Add to Home Screen" (or a similar option) to install a cached, standalone version of the mobile site. Pages will automagically be updated as you switch to them and if you or my site lose connectivity, the cached items will be displayed.
The repeater listing on the site for EAARS is a little cluttered, so I made a local copy.
- Bulletin board systems wishing to link to mine MUST provide me with their MAP settings BEFORE trying to link or route internet traffic.
- AUTOADDMAP has been disabled on my system.
- Once I have your MAP settings entered into my system, it will take approximately 30 minutes for your IP address to be extracted and added to my firewall's allow list.
- ONLY THEN will AXIP/UDP traffic start to flow between our systems.
- AGAIN, do NOT just add my MAP to your system and expect things to work.
The BBS server updates the firewall's record of your IP address every so many minutes to account for the dynamic IP address most of us get from our providers.
This is the ONLY way through the #firewall and into the BBS. Regular users can still access the BBS via the web portal.
